Neighbour Disputes
If only everyone got along. Sadly they don’t, and neighbours are no exception.
Disputes between neighbours come in all shapes and sizes. From boundary disputes, to arguments over shared driveways, tree roots, high hedges, trespass, excessive noise and anti-social behaviour. There seems no end to the ways in which those living next to one another can fall out.
My advice to all who encounter a neighbour dispute is to stay calm and try to resolve it early and amicably before things get out of hand.
Unfortunately that isn’t always possible, especially if the relationship is strained.
Still, there are plenty of ways to resolve them, without the need to incur great expense, or lose any sleep.
I’ve listed below some of the most common types of neighbour dispute, with a link to a separate post about each. I hope you find them helpful.
- Boundary Disputes
- Fence Disputes
- High Hedges
- Nuisance
- Parking Disputes
- Restrictive Covenants
- Trees
- Trespass
